Round PTFE furniture glide with a nail fixing system for wooden chair and table legs.
Available in 20, 22, 25 and 30 mm diameters, with a 5 mm glide height. Designed for applications where a mechanical fixing is preferred over self-adhesive attachment.
This nail-on PTFE glide is designed primarily for wooden chair legs, table legs and other furniture where the glide can be mechanically fixed into the bottom of the leg.
Compared with self-adhesive glides, the nail fixing provides a more secure attachment for furniture that is moved frequently or exposed to repeated lateral forces.
Select a glide diameter that fits within the bottom surface of the furniture leg without extending beyond the edges.
The furniture leg should also provide sufficient thickness and material strength for the nail to be installed securely.
For narrow, thin or fragile furniture legs, the nail size and installation method should be checked before mass production.
